He has been training in this field since his university days. He completed his legal apprenticeship under the mentorship of one of Poland&#8217;s leading criminal law experts, Prof. Dr. Hab. Jan Widacki, with whom he collaborated for eight years, gaining valuable experience. Marek has represented clients in some of the most high-profile criminal trials in recent years, cases that garnered significant media attention, including those of the most serious nature (e.g., murder, involvement in organized crime, causing fatal traffic accidents, and fraud). He also has experience in economic criminal cases. Primarily, he acts as a defense attorney in criminal proceedings but also serves as a representative for auxiliary prosecutors.<\/p>\n<p>In 2018, Marek graduated with a law degree from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University. He defended his master&#8217;s thesis titled &#8220;The Limits of Civil Provocation in Criminal Law&#8221; under the supervision of one of the foremost authorities in criminal law, Supreme Court Judge Prof. Dr. Hab. W\u0142odzimierz Wr\u00f3bel. Additionally, he holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in administration from the same faculty. During his studies, he participated in a Polish-American seminar at Indiana University in Bloomington (USA), where the focus was on comparative criminal law and the analysis of differences between the Polish and American legal systems.<\/p>\n<p>Privately, Marek is a fan of good films, especially thrillers and crime movies.
